To The Neighborhoods and To The Nations (Part 4)

Part 4:
We’re planting a church because our ‘FEET’ are being defined by the Gospel

All of Christianity exists because of these words in Matthew 28,

‘Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’

There is a command that puts our feet into motion. It’s a command to multiply, to recreate what someone has created in us, to make disciples. These disciples joyfully submit to this call to follow Jesus by telling the world through baptism. And most importantly (and the one that consistently gets overlooked) teach them all that we’ve been taught.

Feet that are defined by the Gospel are feet that are on the move. Love doesn’t just wish the Gospel would advance in Sulphur and to the nations…LOVE DOES!

Over the next few months, we will be hosting ‘vision-casting’ nights. Dates will be made public very soon. Our hopes are that we would have the opportunity to share what God is doing in our hearts and what He is calling us to with those who feel the nudge to be part of this ministry. As you pray for us, ask God how He would have you engage this movement. Then, if He permits, come be part of these nights!

Would you pray for us that God would continue clarifying the vision He has begun to give us for North Sulphur? Would you pray for receptive ears and hearts of fellow disciples? Would you ask God what, if any, role you could have in this initiative?

“As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!'” ~Romans 10:15b
